What exactly does your story have to do with the Bible of Jewish or Christians. I'm a Christian Trans Done and I thought you were going to work within the Bible, not fantasy stories. I'm just asking because I recommended you to MCC. (Metropolitan Community Church)
ReplyDeleteHi there, and thanks for the comment. I think you're referring to the post about Iphis (post #2 -- can't hyperlink here). I will talk about the Bible (soon, I promise!). The reason I'm talking about this story is because a) it is written at a time that is contemporaneous with Jesus...which I should probably put in the blog itself (I will shortly) and b) it's important to recognize that the Bible is set in a broad ancient world setting -- when stories about Iphis are popular, it will be easier to see gender fluidity in ancient Christianity.
